Barley shochu is aged in shochu seasoned oak for 6 years.

The contents of a seasoned shochu barrel are transferred to Japanese cherry blossom cask. To overcome the intensity of robust sakura barrels, this product is balanced with Brandy and Sherry Cask finish shochu.

The powerful notes of Sakura cask impart an distinctive, floral flavour which is supported by a foundation of Asakura Brandy finish and Sherry Cask finish.
