Barley shochu is aged in shochu seasoned oak for 6 years.
The contents of a seasoned shochu barrel are transferred to an ex Cognac (Brandy) cask and aged for a further one year.
The Cognac cask imparts a complex and mellow flavour which lingers on the palate.
A beautiful union of French Oak and Japanese Shochu.
